Cincon's 200 W isolated DC/DC converter allows for a 12:1 input range
The CHB200W12 series DC/DC converters from Cincon emphasize its development of ultra-wide input and railway applications. With a wide 12:1, 14 VDC to 160 VDC input range, this new product offers 200 W in an industry-standard half-brick size with single output voltages of 12 VDC, 15 VDC, 24 VDC, 48 VDC, and 3000 VAC isolation.
The series is compliant with EN50155, EN45545, and EN50121-3-2. They have high efficiency up to 90%, allowing case operating temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. An optional heat sink is available to extend the full power range of the unit. The standard control functions include remote on/off (positive or negative) and +15%, -20% adjustable output voltage.
The converters are fully protected against input UVLO (undervoltage lockout), output overcurrent, output overvoltage and overtemperature, and continuous short circuit conditions. CHB200W12 series is designed primarily for common railway applications of 24 V, 36 V, 48 V, 72 V, 96 V, and 110 V nominal voltage and also suitable for distributed power architectures, telecommunications, battery-operated equipment, and industrial applications.
